| Indoor Skate Park-Lusby, MD DACS Indoor Skate Park, Inc. is a nonprofit organization catering to skaters and will prepare to open an indoor skate park that will also be used for summer camps and after school programs for the Calvert county area. The atmosphere will be a casual and social facility that will be open to anyone, and offer a great place and time for skaters to come together. They can make friends, challenge each other and learn new tricks, all in a safe environment. As many communities label skaters as a problem and post signs stating "no skateboarding allowed" are making it difficult for skaters to improve their skills. Skateboarding is a positive activity and needs to have a facility to promote it. DACS is in a start-up mode. Operations will be conducted in a location to be determined which will best suit the goals we are trying to achieve as listed above. DACS Indoor Skate Park will hold fundraisers and take donations to reach our goals. To keep the facility operating there will be camps, competitions and the support of local businesses with advertising opportunities.
